  17. <p>    After making a movie (Penn & Teller Get Killed) and writing
  18. a book (Cruel Tricks for Dear Friends), Penn & Teller find that
  19. "you could get exhausted from things you love." Or get hurt.
  20. Teller benignly swallows needles or hangs upside down over
  21. spikes in their magic act, but tore muscles doing a simple film
  22. chase. Explains Penn Jillette, the bigger, brasher half of the
  23. duo: "We're trying to be like Mel Gibson." That's only an
  24. illusion.
